Greymount
Trafalgar Capital has submitted a planning application for permission for 32 new apartments at ‘Graymount’, Dungriffin road, Howth Co. Dublin.
The company has pinpointed Howth as being chronically undersupplied of ‘build to sell’ schemes, for the current residents of the peninsula to have flexibility in their housing options. Through detailed and extensive consultations with planners, arborists, drainage and conservation specialists, as well as architects and engineers, a high-quality scheme with mature planting and generous open space, ample parking provisions for all units, in addition to secure storage, was deemed to be the most considerate use of the site.
All 32 units have their own private outside space, and the development gives all residents use of a communal BBQ area, as well as a children’s playground and other passive and recreational open space areas. Through the design process and talking to stakeholders in the area, the one thing that was obvious is that larger than normal apartments is what the area requires. Therefore, the scheme compromises 1-bedroom units of 720 sq. ft and 2 and 3 beds of up to 1200sq ft and 1400sq ft approx. respectively.
This will allow all the units to be a fantastic place to live.
Graymount will become a place for locals to live and thrive, in A-rated efficient apartments, long into the future.
